The Office of Talent & Personnel supports the district’s nearly 5,000 employees. This includes the recruitment and retention of employees in several different employment categories, including teachers, administrators, support staff, bus drivers, and more. As a major employer, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is always looking for talented and committed employees.

As the largest provider of public education in Iowa and one of the state’s major employers, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ recently made an organizational change to provide better support and develop opportunities for its 5,000 employees. The school district merged the Human Resources and Talent Support offices to form a new department to enhance the learning, thriving and belonging of current and future employees. 

The Office of Talent & Personnel combines traditional human resource services with an enhanced focus on professional development, coaching and transformational leadership. One benefit of this change will be to support the growth of in-house talent and more diverse leadership to represent and serve the school district’s diverse student body.
